As one of the country's twenty oldest universities, Georgetown University's location in northwest Washington, DC, offers our students an opportunity to not only join a vibrant campus community, but to also take advantage of the abundant resources available in the nation's capital. The campus visit begins with an information session, conducted by a Georgetown admissions officer and approximately 45 minutes in length, with ample time to ask questions at the conclusion of the session. After the information session, you will participate in one of our student-led campus tours, approximately 1 hour & 15 minutes, which are geared toward prospective undergraduate students. The campus tour will take you around most of our 104 acre campus and occurs mostly outdoors, so please dress comfortably (walking shoes, umbrellas, jackets, etc.) for the walking tour. Visitors should anticipate two hours total for both the information session and campus tour. Before you arrive on campus, please review the University Operating Status. Our office may occasionally modify or cancel tours of campus due to weather conditions (e.g. heat advisories, snow, severe thunderstorms). Every effort is made to ensure that information sessions and campus tours are offered as scheduled. In these cases, up-to-date information is available by contacting our office at (202) 687-3600.
Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
