Post Bacc Pre Med Application for Admission 2025-2026

Thank you for starting your Georgetown University Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate Program Application for Admission.

Applicants to the post-bacc program must assemble and submit with their application:

Application fee of $75.00 (credit card or electronic check is accepted)
A one-page single spaced essay describing your interest in pursuing a career in medicine, dentistry or other health profession and relevant information about your undergraduate education and work experience
A one-page resume
Official transcripts from all undergraduate institutions
One letter of recommendation, preferably with at least one from a person familiar with the applicant’s academic work. More than one letter is allowed. If you would like to use a letter service such as Interfolio, you may also send the letter to postbacapp@georgetown.edu and we will upload the letter to your file.
SAT, ACT, and/or GRE scores should be submitted if you have taken them, but are not required

Application Deadlines

Our application process is rolling. We will accept applications until the seats are filled or until two weeks before class registration begins for the semester. Applications and materials (i.e., payment, transcripts, letters of recommendation) may be submitted after the application deadline. Applications will not be reviewed until all the required materials are received by our office. We encourage you to submit your application by the preferred deadlines to ensure adequate review time and seat availability. While our admissions process is rolling, please note the preferred application deadlines below:

Please note this is a required component of the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medicine application and your application will not be considered complete until it received.
